Chubb is seeking new producer appointments to complement our current appointments throughout the United States and Canada.
The key to Chubb's success has been the management of the agent/broker process. Some of the criteria we use to evaluate Chubb results are the same benchmarks that guide the success of an appointment with Chubb.
Chubb expects its agents/brokers to operate under the same business philosophy as Chubb. This includes the following attributes:
Insurance producers must be appointed with Chubb to access most of our products. Chubb appointments are handled through our branch network. To learn more about a Chubb appointment, contact one of our regional marketing contacts.
State: Insurance licenses are issued by all states. Each insurance department establishes the required qualifications for this license. The states issue licenses for both residents and nonresidents. The state regulations will dictate whether licenses are issued for business entities and/or individuals.
Agent or Broker: It is the insurance agent or broker’s responsibility to obtain insurance licenses and meet the licensing qualifications required by each state insurance department to which they apply. It is also the agent or broker’s responsibility to pay all initial and renewal licensing fees as required by each state. Furthermore, it is incumbent upon all agents and brokers to abide by all applicable insurance laws and regulations.
